Australian renewable energy company, Eurus Energy, has launched its first large-scale hybrid renewable energy facility, the Kennedy Energy Park in Queensland. The facility combines 43.2 MW of wind, 15 MW of solar, and a 2 MW/4 MWh battery. The project received A$18m in funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency and A$93.5m in debt finance. The park will sell the generated electricity to CS Energy under a Power Purchase Agreement.
